Experience the new immersive online conference technology

This event will use edge cutting online conference technology. You will have the possibility to decide whether you use your own avatar to “visit” the “conference” and navigate through the conference building and experience the new immersive technology of conferences or use the live stream, where you can also choose between the different speeches and listen the conventional way.

OPC UA standards will significantly influence and change the communication in mechanical and plant engineering as well as in the manufacturing and process industry. In addition, customers like the automotive industry of the mechanical and plant engineering industry will in future demand that products support OPC UA Companion Specifications and thus have standardized interfaces. In the VDMA, over 600 companies are currently developing interface standards, the so-called OPC UA Companion Specifications, in over 35 working groups.

New to OPC UA?

You are interested in a special training about the fundamentals of OPC UA? Then the online seminar “OPC UA Fundamentals in Mechanical Engineering” offered by the Maschinenbau-Institut (a company of the VDMA) might be of use for you. In the seminar you will learn the basics of OPC UA by means of theory and practical use cases from mechanical engineering. Please note that the seminar is in German.
