What expect­a­tions do you have of umati, what do you expect from the part­ner­ship? 

We expect the part­ner­ship with umati to ease and stream­line the com­mu­nic­a­tion between the busi­ness applic­a­tions and the machines. We also expect to cre­ate new part­ner­ships and con­tacts in the engin­eer­ing industry. 

What advant­ages does umati offer your com­pany and your cus­tom­ers? 

Umati offers a har­mon­ized com­mu­nic­a­tion with the machines sim­pli­fy­ing our every­day work and help­ing us con­cen­trate on major devel­op­ments. Our cus­tom­ers will have the chance to change machines without hav­ing to worry about the com­pat­ib­il­ity of the drivers any­more. And most of all, the install­a­tion of a new machine will be done in one click instead of, some­times, a few weeks. By join­ing umati, we also get the chance to be part of the future by shar­ing our know­ledge with oth­er com­pan­ies. 

How do you eval­u­ate the expan­sion of the umati ini­ti­at­ive to the entire mech­an­ic­al engin­eer­ing industry? 

We think the umati ini­ti­at­ive is very pos­it­ive because it will cre­ate a com­mon com­mu­nic­a­tion between all act­ors in the engin­eer­ing industry and enable the mar­ket to grow stronger and faster. We hope that more and more com­pan­ies will join us quickly as they real­ize the effi­ciency gains that this pro­ject brings to every­one.
