umati has new partner Peakboard America Inc.

Peakboard America is now part of the umati community

What expectations do you have of umati, what do you expect from the partnership?

This partnership would allow Peakboard to enhance its ability to offer comprehensive, integrated data solutions for manufacturers who prioritize interoperability and modern data standards.

One important aspect is the Seamless Data Integration: With the standardized seamless communication protocols between different machines and systems, Peakboard can aggregate and visualize machine data in real time, regardless of the machine manufacturer. Peakboard can reach out to a wider array of machines and devices that adhere to the OPC UA standard. This would allow Peakboard to offer customers a more unified data solution, catering to a broader range of equipment types.

Also, a Collaborative Innovation which could be opportunities for joint innovation, including the potential to co-develop or align future product features with Umati’s evolving standards to remain at the forefront of manufacturing technology solutions.

What advantages does umati offer your company and your customers?

With Umati’s standardized data exchange protocols, Peakboard’s implementation time in customer environments can be significantly reduced, allowing for faster setups and quicker value delivery to clients. As Umati continues to evolve and gain traction across the industry, aligning with this open standard ensures that Peakboard stays compatible with future developments in machine connectivity, making its solutions adaptable to future needs. In essence, Umati enhances the value Peakboard provides by offering easier integration, improved flexibility, and future-proof solutions for modern manufacturing needs.

How do you assess the extension of the umati initiative to the entire mechanical engineering sector?

Peakboard would likely assess the expansion of Umati to the entire mechanical engineering sector as a strategic development that offers greater opportunities for growth, efficiency, and collaboration across the industry.

About Peakboard America

The umati community is growing and is happy about its new partner:

Peakboard, founded 2016, in Stuttgart, Germany with more than 45 employees develops an industrial application for real time data in production and logistics. Our focus is optimizing production processes with an easy-to-use software interface. That helps to create customized dashboards and connect many different data sources in no time. Peakboard covers 200+ different systems e. g. machines, different ERP systems like SAP, Oracle or Infor as well as databases and Excel.

Peakboard helps to reduce machine downtimes, operators can act as early as possible on machine errors and in general the safety aspect is something Peakboard can focus on. The results are more transparency, better quality, time savings and efficiency.
