What expect­a­tions do you have of umati, what do you expect from the partnership?

Mar­poss is a glob­al mar­ket lead­er in meas­ure­ment, test­ing and pro­cess mon­it­or­ing. Stand­ard­ised data exchange with machines and plants and cus­tom­er con­trol levels has always been a focus for us. OPC UA offers us the chance to put our hori­zont­al and ver­tic­al com­mu­nic­a­tion on an accep­ted stand­ard. Mar­poss is work­ing with oth­er industry part­ners to devel­op an industry-spe­cif­ic OPC UA com­pan­ion spe­cific­a­tion for Geo­met­ric­al Meas­ure­ment. The umati com­munity as a spokes­per­son for OPC UA in mech­an­ic­al and plant engin­eer­ing is an import­ant part­ner for us.
