With regard to par­ti­cip­a­tion and col­lab­or­a­tion in the umati com­munity, Formi­Ka expects to gain fur­ther insights into cur­rent digit­iz­a­tion require­ments from the pro­duc­tion-related envir­on­ment as well as mech­an­ic­al and plant engin­eer­ing, par­tic­u­larly with regard to integ­ra­tion and cloud infra­struc­ture devel­op­ments in the IT envir­on­ment as well as innov­at­ive digit­iz­a­tion concepts.

What advant­ages does umati offer your com­pany and your customers?

Formi­Ka sees the umati ini­ti­at­ive as hav­ing great poten­tial for defin­ing and estab­lish­ing integ­ra­tion and digit­iz­a­tion stand­ards in mech­an­ic­al and plant engin­eer­ing and in pro­duc­tion tech­no­logy, espe­cially for the integ­ra­tion of cur­rent trends and devel­op­ments in inform­a­tion tech­no­logy (e.g. cloud tech­no­lo­gies, micro ser­vices, low code/no code approaches).
