The more data are vis­ible the easi­er is to under­stand if free capa­city is avail­able, and high­er levels of ser­vice could be enabled from themachine.I expect a per­fect syn­ergy with our B2B web plat­form, and a seam­less con­nectiv­ity with every machine.

An easi­er access to data that make pro­duc­tion plan­ning smooth­er and more integ­rated, as well as a hol­ist­ic approach to con­nectiv­ity enabling hori­zont­al integ­ra­tion through­out mixed shop floors.

How do you eval­u­ate the expan­sion of the umati ini­ti­at­ive to the entire mech­an­ic­al engin­eer­ing industry? 

I see what in the world is hap­pen­ing with open­source sys­tems: repla­cing stand­ard lan­guages toward more integ­rated envir­on­ments. Work­ing full­round with the metal­work­ing sec­tor, we look for­ward for the full scalab­il­ity of Umati to the entire mech­an­ic­al engin­eer­ing industry.
