umati, the universal machine technology interface, is showcasing its latest advancements at the Hannover Messe in Hall 8, Stand D16/2.

Among the high­lights are two demon­strat­ors that demon­strate the cap­ab­il­it­ies of the plat­form, as well as the umati dash­board which provides a user-friendly inter­face for machine data analysis.

In addi­tion, the Machine Inform­a­tion Inter­op­er­ab­il­ity depart­ment of the VDMA is part­ner­ing with umati to present the OPC UA Com­pan­ion Spe­cific­a­tions, includ­ing the “OPC UA for Machinery” base spe­cific­a­tion. The goal of these ini­ti­at­ives is to pro­mote great­er inter­op­er­ab­il­ity and stand­ard­iz­a­tion with­in the man­u­fac­tur­ing industry, allow­ing machines and sys­tems to com­mu­nic­ate seam­lessly with each other.
