What expect­a­tions do you have of umati, what do you expect from the partnership?

We expect a strong and open net­work for com­mu­nic­a­tion stand­ards across machinery and con­trol sys­tems of any branch and man­u­fac­turer. While devel­op­ing cus­tom­er focused solu­tions with the umati stand­ard, we are look­ing for­ward to present­ing show­cases togeth­er with our umati net­work­ing partners.

What advant­ages does umati offer your com­pany and your customers?

We focus on the pos­it­ive design and devel­op­ment of high-end man­u­fac­tur­ing equip­ment and indus­tri­al soft­ware, empower­ing users to achieve digit­al trans­form­a­tion and upgrad­ing, and provid­ing solu­tions at vari­ous levels for pro­duc­tion lines, work­shops, and entire sites. As a part­ner of umati, it has increased the vis­ib­il­ity of Shang­hai SmartState in the field of high-end man­u­fac­tur­ing. Of course, this helps build­ing up new rela­tion­ships with­in neigh­bor busi­ness areas and meet­ing new customers.

How do you eval­u­ate the expan­sion of the umati ini­ti­at­ive to the entire mech­an­ic­al engin­eer­ing industry?

From a tech­nic­al per­spect­ive, intel­li­gent man­u­fac­tur­ing is based on com­mu­nic­a­tion. From an applic­a­tion per­spect­ive, intel­li­gent man­u­fac­tur­ing should focus on cus­tom­er needs in order to solve oper­a­tion­al prob­lems in man­u­fac­tur­ing plants. Umati sim­pli­fies, secures, and seam­lessly con­nects machines and soft­ware, help­ing cus­tom­ers to lever­age the added value of data.
