OPC UA 40444 for Textile Testing Devices

OPC 40444 presents an OPC UA Information Model designed to seamlessly integrate a diverse range of textile testing devices into Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and other IT systems.

Spe­cific­ally tailored to tex­tile test­ing instru­ments util­ized in applic­a­tions such as the spin­ning industry, research insti­tutes, qual­ity con­trol labor­at­or­ies, and indus­tri­al pro­duc­tion con­trol, this Com­pan­ion Spe­cific­a­tion stream­lines the trans­fer of inform­a­tion to and from these devices.

By offer­ing a stand­ard­ized inter­face, man­u­fac­tur­ers of tex­tile test­ing devices can ensure com­pat­ib­il­ity and inter­op­er­ab­il­ity across vari­ous sys­tems. It is import­ant to note that online test­ing devices are not covered in the scope.
