What do you expect from your part­ner­ship with umati?

We see umati as a key ini­ti­at­ive to pro­mote open­ness and stand­ard­iz­a­tion in indus­tri­al con­nectiv­ity. Our goal is to act­ively sup­port and bene­fit from a shared lan­guage that makes sys­tems integ­ra­tion sim­pler and more scal­able. Espe­cially as we expand our IoT activ­it­ies across dif­fer­ent indus­tri­al sec­tors, being part of the umati net­work gives us the oppor­tun­ity to stay aligned with best prac­tices and con­trib­ute to a glob­al ecosystem.

How does your com­pany, or your cus­tom­ers, bene­fit from umati?

Our cus­tom­ers bene­fit from smooth­er deploy­ments and a stronger found­a­tion for digit­al growth.

How do you eval­u­ate the expan­sion of the umati ini­ti­at­ive to the entire mech­an­ic­al engin­eer­ing industry?

We’re excited to see umati gain­ing trac­tion bey­ond Ger­many, help­ing com­pan­ies across Europe and glob­ally to adopt com­mon stand­ards. As we con­tin­ue con­ver­sa­tions with device and hard­ware man­u­fac­tur­ers in the IoT space, this kind of har­mon­ized frame­work is increas­ingly valu­able. We believe umati will play a cent­ral role in the future of machine com­mu­nic­a­tion across industries.
